The challenge of a sustained 20% climb up the legendary Burway road on the Long Mynd lured Robbo, le Patron and the Candle to forego holiday lie ins in favour of a cracking day in the saddle. I've uploaded a the route map as usual. This shows the Burway as a Cat 2 climb with an average between 6 and 7%. I have to put the record straight and say that's b*llocks as the gradient compares to the gated road between Bala and Trawsfynydd and the Bwlch Penbarra.
